In 2007, JLCS, Inc was incorporated (Florida document number P07000047214). What started as a local service company established the operating principles that still guide the business: show up when promised, perform reliable work, treat customers fairly, communicate honestly, and build reputation through consistent results.
Those principles proved more durable than any single line of business.
From Local Service to Preparedness
As interest grew in preparedness, outdoor skills, and practical self-reliance, the business direction evolved. In 2021, that evolution produced My Survival Outlet, which focused on sourcing and presenting gear and supplies for emergency, outdoor, and everyday preparedness use.
The approach was deliberate: do not sell fear. Help people build capability.
